Help: How To Play Xbox One Games Without Internet | THE EN

can you play xbox one disc games offline

can you play xbox one disc games offline - win

Can you even play disc games offline with the Xbox One?

I’ve tried multiple different games and none work. Usually I have internet so I’m in a license transaction which means now that I’m offline I can’t use any digital games offline. But I have disc games that I was able to start up earlier, but now can’t. I try to play the game (Far Cry 4) and it says every time without fail, “First, Connect to Xbox Live.” Well no shit, I would if I could. It’s pretty bad when you have a 500$ gaming console that can’t even do something as simple as play a disc game without internet. I’m liking the 360 more and more with each and every day.

The Ultimate guide for OFFLINE features, split-screen, Bots, LAN Play in Cold War

1.11 UPDATE NEW FEATURES ZOMBIES HAS SPLIT SCREEN OFFLINE NOW!

1.11 update news

-Zombies now allows 2 player split-screen in offline, you can add a controller as well as start/boot the match fine, however the same issues persist with offline split-screen, visual/menu glitches/bugs just like the normal multiplayer split-screen
-Multiplayer offline split-screen is working again, it seems to have all the same issues it had prior to the 1.09 update where it got broken, rough menus, class selection not working in certain scenarios, I've also found Nuketown 84 in split-screen will crash every time it loads into the match...etc etc.
- RAID and PINES map are available offline now
-Prop hunt is available offline now, however no bot support.

1.10 update - literally nothing added for offline

1.09 update - literally nothing added for offline

KNOWN MAJOR OFFLINE ISSUES/BUGS all present in latest 1.08 'season one' version (tested on PS4/PS5) Please read these as it may answer some questions instead of posting a comment.

*NEW BUG/GLITCH as of V.08\*
- V1.08 you can no longer play split-screen offline, when adding player 2, it will attempt to add player 2 and just fail each time....
- when playing split-screen multiplayer (versus) player 2 can do create-a-class but only edit the main weapon, they can not edit any attachments
- when playing split-screen multiplayer (versus) often player 2 can not select a class when starting the match at all.

- offline zombies has no option for split-screen or adding a controller when playing offline period (unsure if this is a glitch or the fact zombies has no split-screen option offline at all
- online zombies, has the option to add a second player for split-screen, but even when you do this the game won't launch and will often come up with a error stating this mode has exceeded the maximum amount of players, (unsure if ths is a glitch or the fact zombies isn't supposed to be split-screen at all)
- Search and Destroy and VIP Escort modes, do not support offline bots at all
- the maps Armada and Crossroads do not support offline bots at all currently for any mode
- the maps Armada and Crossroads have a small variant for normal modes, however when playing VIP escort mode only, you get the full expanded large scale combined arms map (with vehicles) however again no offline bot support, unsure if this is a glitch or not.
- various interface/menu bugs within the menus/lobbys
- multiple instances of glitches when playing in split-screen, gunsights missing/notloading, hands dissappearing etc etc.
- multiple settings not working, loadout restrictions settings completely broken and not working right, guns misnamed, M82 is called the XM4 etc and turning off or enabling what is supposed to be the M82 turns off both or enables both the M82 and XM4, really broken.
- I have to do more testing but I've had two instances on PS5 where my campaign save will dissappear completely after playing split-screen multiplayer.
- unsure if a glitch or designed this way.
If you find any bugs/issues or fixes that I haven't do let me know in the comments or flick me a PM, Finding new stuff every time I play it.
I'll endeavour to keep this guide updated over the next couple of months, do be with me as I can't update EXACTLY on time every time a new update comes out..
All testing done with the PS4 and PS5 version of the game (v1.03) (now updated to V1.07)
I have updated the game now to V1.05, I can confirm nothing has changed for offline with this update, what is down below is still current including no OFFLINE split-screen option for Zombies and the Crossroads/Armada maps still do not support bots.
I now have the PS4 as well as the PS5 version of the game, It's exactly the same, nothing additional, no extra bots/maps/modes/features, exactly the same issues, exactly the same stuff.
Some people are asking about the Dualsense for it, it's neat, the guns all feel slightly different, so the resistive triggers have different 'pulls' for different weapons, big LMGs the aiming trigger is a slow steady pull where as a pistol is very lightweight and barely any resistance, the vibration stuff, pretty standard, although again every gun feels a little different, nothing mind blowing, but neat feature. Astros Playroom on the other hand is amazing for the dualsense.
All testing done on PS4 Pro and PS5, running in an offline environment, no internet on the console, boot from cold startup, booting up Black Ops Cold War OFFLINE and playing OFFLINE.
This guide is aimed at people who enjoy the offline part of Call of Duty (yes there are people like us) If you play online thats fine, no need to make a stupid comment like "why are you playing offline in 2020 what a loser etc etc"
I've done this for several years, this guide is for fans of offline play and aimed to get CORRECT information to people who need it

FAQ Starts here

What do you mean when you use the word OFFLINE?
To clear up any confusion as many people seem to confuse the terms OFFLINE and LOCAL PLAY, these are two VERY different things.
If I use the word OFFLINE in this guide at any point, I mean OFFLINE, no internet on the console, no WiFi, no Ethernet, Console as well as game has been cold booted with NO INTERNET WHATSOEVER.
Can you play Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War OFFLINE without an internet connection?
Yes once your game is at version 1.03 (latest current version at time of release) You can play the game fully offline.
Like Modern Warfare 2019, the game is quite large (100.4GB for PS4 at of time of writing) It also like Modern Wafare 2019 is divided into PACKS
The Base game has the following PACKS, which you need to have installed if you want to play every mode available.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Single Player LicenseCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Multiplayer License
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies License
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Campaign 1
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Campaign 2
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Campaign 3
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Multiplayer Base Install
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Zombies Base Install
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Dead Ops Arcade Pack
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Content 1 - 6 License (1 file for each) ( I believe this is just DLC stuff)
The console versions like WWII, Black Ops 4 and Modern Warfare 2019 will work OFFLINE after patching/updating, the PC version however due to Battlenet is ONLINE ONLY, even for Campaign/offline bots.
Can you install and play Black Ops Cold War from the disc without installing any updates/patches?
No you can not, like Call of Duty WWII, Black Ops 4, and Modern Warfare 2019 before it, the physical copies of the game do not contain all the files nor can you play the full experience OFFLINE via the disc only, you can only play a few multiplayer maps vs bots, thats it.
*A MANDATORY INSTALLATION/UPDATE IS REQUIRED FIRST\*
Can you play the Campaign OFFLINE?
Yes as mentioned before, as long as you have updated your game to the minimum version of 1.03 (latest current release) the games campaign will be playable OFFLINE.
Can you play the multiplayer (versus) OFFLINE?
Yes as mentioned before, as long as you have updated your game to the minimum version of 1.03 (latest current release) the games multiplayer will be playable OFFLINE.
Can you play the Zombies mode OFFLINE?
Yes as mentioned before, as long as you have updated your game to the minimum version of 1.03 (latest current release) the games multiplayer will be playable OFFLINE.
**Can you play the Zombies Onslaught mode OFFLINE? (exclusive to PS4/PS5 for 1 year)**yes
Is there Split-screen support in mutliplayer versus?
Versus Multiplayer has 2 players split-screen per console maximum
Is there split-screen support in Zombies?
EDIT: Version 1.11 has finally added the ability to play zombies OFFLINE split-screen, however its still rough, but it does work.
Is there co-op campaign or split-screen campaign?
Campaign is single player only.

What does the aspect ratio for split-screen look like? Is there any 'black bars' on the sides?
Split-screen for multiplayer versus has both Vertical and Horizontal options.
Horizontal split-screen (TOP and BOTTOM) has black bars on the left and right.Vertical split-screen (LEFT and RIGHT) has black bars on the top and bottom.
Is there OFFLINE LAN support, (2 or more systems connected offline for multiplayer) ?
You can play 2 players PER CONSOLE in multiplayer versus. Zombies is ONE PER CONSOLE currently, LAN is broken though unless you go online and download temporary hotfixes, so basically you need all consoles to be online, connected to servers, get hotfixes (so every game/console is on the same version and then it will work) this is the exact same issue Modern Warfare has. Its stupid. true proper OFFLINE LAN play is pretty much broken in the last two CODs.

OFFLINE BOT SUPPORT

Is there offline bot (AI Enemies/teammates) support?Which modes support them? How many Bots per mode?
Yes there are offline bots
you can have a total of 12 players in each core game mode, so if playing SOLO, you can have 11 bots.
I can confirm if playing split-screen you can still have 11 bots in the game total.Previous versions of the game only supported 7 bots in TDM and FFA game modes, this was fixed in V1.07. all modes support 11 bots.
you can not add bots to the Crossroads or Armada maps at all.
VIP Escort and Search and Destroy game modes do not support offline bots.
Can you make assymetrical/uneven teams?
Yes, however you can't go over the maximum of 6 players per each team,
So you can't for example do a team death match with you on one team vs 11 bots on the other team.
6 v 6 max
How many players can play each mode? (assume bots means players too here)
2 REAL players in split-screen and up to 11 bots (6 players/bots per team)
Edit: I didn't notice before as I mainly play objective modes not FFA or Team Deathmatch,
If you play Free-for-all or Team Deathmatch the bots cap at 7, not 11
What difficulties are there for the bots?
Recruit, Regular, Hardened, Veteran
are there loadout restrictions and can we force the bots to use certain loadouts?
There is an option for loadout restrictions in the menu, however It dosen't affect bots, you can turn off custom classes but sadly there again is no option to set what the DEFAULT classes are (like how Modern Warfare Remastered allows)
Right now the restrictions screen is VERY broken, half of the weapons are sharing the same name, for example the M82 Sniper rifle is incorrectly labelled as the XM4 (assault rifle) I turned off EVERYTHING but the M82 but it has the XM4 enabled (as its obviously broken) I have turned off everything but the XM4 and there are still weapons that are accessible.
So hard one to test right now, It's restricting some weapons but I can only tell from the player side no the bot side, Patches are needed to test this feature properly.
are there friendly/teammate bots for Zombies mode?
No there are no friendly AI/teammates/bots in Zombies mode.
What are the bots like, and how do they play?
I've had a quick go (I'll update this more later) but they feel like how they did in MW 2019.

Create-a-Class/Loadouts/Customisation

Is there an offline progression system? or is everything unlocked for offline play?
There is no offline progression system, everything is unlocked from the start, all attachments, gear, weapons etc is available offline from the start
What about customisation/camos etc?
Yes you can apply camos, change reticles offline, it looks like everything is unlocked here
What is available in offline create-a-class?
A ton, I'll add a video in the comments later with a showcase of everything, it's comparable to how MW was at launch.
How many custom classes can you have? can you save/rename them?
You can have 5 custom classes per player offline, yes you can rename/save them.
What Operators are available offline?
All launch Operators are available offline
NATO:
Mil-Sim:
HunterSong
Operators:
ParkAdlerBakerSimsWoods
Warsaw Pact
Mil-Sim:
VargasPowers
Operators:
PortnovaBeckGarciaStone

Multiplayer VERSUS

What game modes are available offline?
Team DeathmatchFree-For-AllSearch & DestoryDominationHardpointControlVIP Escort
What about the Larger Combined Arms modes?
Although the maps like Crossroads (which was the big snowy map in the beta with snowmobiles etc) are here, these are not the combined arms versions, these are smaller cut down versions of these maps, you can only do 6 v 6 in offline.
Is there a realism mode? or Hardcore Mode?
No realism mode, there is no hardcore 'mode' like MW2019, however there are Hardcore versions of TDM, FFA, SND, and DOM.
What multiplayer maps are available?
ArmadaCartelCheckmateCrossroadsGarrisonMiamiMoscowSatelliteNuketown 84 (added for offline in update V1.07)
What interesting custom game settings are there? anything different/new?
Nothing out of the ordinary, all pretty standard fare at launch.
Can I save custom game modes OFFLINE?
Yes you can save them.

Zombies

Is everything unlocked for create-a-class?
Yes, everything is unlocked, it's the same weapon selection from multiplayer versus, however you get 1 weapon, not 2, and a field upgrade which are zombies themed special powers.
Is there settings like in Black Ops 4, where you could adjust zombies/custom game settings?
Sadly no, it seems very scaled back more like the normal zombies modes from the older Black Ops games.
What modes are available for zombies offline?
Round based (standard zombies)Dead Ops arcade 3 (top down twin-stick shooter mini game mode)Onslaught (PS4/PS5 Exclusive for 1 year)
What maps/scenarios are available for offline zombies?
Round based (standard zombies)
Die Maschine
**Dead Ops Arcade 3 (mini game)**Rise of the Mamaback
Onslaught
Moscow (same as the multiplayer Moscow map....just with zombies)
What is onslaught mode anyway?
so its basically a VIP escort thing, you have a floating orb, that has a protective cirlce around it, you need to stay in the circle to live, zombies come at you, you shoot em, orb moves to a new location, rinse and repeat. Neat but you aren't missing much if you are a PC/Xbox player.

Played all three games multiple times but yesterday finished my first Trilogy marathon with ALL the DLC, just wanted to share my thoughts on each.

Context. Never had Xbox Live till I got an Xbox ONE, so for my entire time as a 360 owner I was offline only. So no Gold and no DLC. However even then till last Summer, where I found the whole lot on sale for like £35 instead of the £80+ it usually is on Xbox, I'd still only played TWO DLCs; Bring Down the Sky, because I have the 'Classics' version of Mass Effect 1 which came with it on a bonus disc, and the Extended Cut because it was free. So yeah, for the past three weeks or so I've done my first FULL marathon of the Trilogy, all three games with all their DLC. Just wanted to share my thoughts on each piece with you guys. I'm not a professional reviewer so they're probably written badly but ehhh. I've included Bring Down the Sky and the Extended Cut for completionist sake.
Mass Effect 1:
. Bring Down the Sky; Best side mission in the game easily. A fun mission that introduces us to the Batarians, but not much else to say otherwise. It's nothing spectacular but still solid.
. Pinnacle Station; A fun curiosity and obviously useful for achievement boosting, but otherwise this is easily the most throwaway DLC of the Trilogy.
Mass Effect 2:
. Cerberus Network; Zaeed's mission is OK and he has some fun banter, but that's sorta it with him. One of the weaker squadmates in my opinion. Normandy Crash Site is really neat and touching. Firewalker is surprisingly fun, wish we'd got to use it more.
. Kasumi: Stolen Memory; Initially she has a REALLY fun and quirky personality and her mission is really interesting and unique and James Bond-esque... but then she's just sorta there for the rest of the game. Just like Zaeed you can really tell she was an afterthought.
. Overlord; Now the good shit. Really creepy atmosphere, fun and varied firefights and the final sequence is REALLY trippy and creative and surprisingly sad. Really really good DLC, only let down by feeling fairly detached from the main game; you'd think Shepard would have at least one on screen argument with the Illusive Man over what he finds but no. I'd have loved the events of Overlord to get at least one mention when Shepard 'quits Cerberus' at the end.
. Lair of the Shadow Broker; Considered the best Mass Effect 2 DLC and I can see why. This takes a relatively simple story and turns it into an action blockbuster. It goes from playing detective, to fighting through the aftermath of a terrorist attack, to a sky car chase, to fighting a FUCKING SPECTRE, to waging a three man war along the hull of a ship in the midst of a lightning storm and finally concludes in an honestly really solid tag team boss fight all in roughly two hours and does it all elegantly. The action is fast, the pacing is top notch, the dialogue sparkles (especially if you romance Liara) and it does a good job at concluding Liara's arc and setting her up for Mass Effect 3. This DLC is fantastic and well worth experiencing, however it's not my favourite Mass Effect 2 DLC.
. Arrival; Possibly the most disliked Mass Effect 2 DLC is my most favourite. But sue me these are my opinions. The first half is wonderfully atmospheric. It's dark, hostile, foreboding and the ability to fully stealth your way through the opening sequence is really refreshing and satisfying. The foreboding tone carries through the rest of the first half and after one of the very best shootouts of the Trilogy, the whole DLC flips. I know it's linear, you get no squadmates and there's little to no choices. But I don't care. The second half of Arrival is one of the most intense edge of your seat chunks of gaming I've ever experienced and is in my opinion the perfect set up to Mass Effect 3 both narratively and tonally.
Mass Effect 3:
. From Ashes; The infamous day one DLC, is my second favourite DLC of Mass Effect 3. The mission is pure nostalgic joy right down to the music, but Javik himself is the true prize. As a video game lore addict he is like nectar. The Protheans, this race we'd heard and seemingly learnt so much about for two games... turn out to be not at all what we expected. Every scene with him gives us a new insight into the Prothean Empire, its rule, its fall etc not to mention he's just really well written, acted and interesting. Also him on Thessia almost brought me to tears, especially when Vendetta recognises him as Prothean. Chills to the max.
. Omega; This is considered the weakest Mass Effect 3 DLC, and I can kinda see why. Learning more about Aria and Omega is interesting and the level design throughout is incredibly varied with streets, dockyards, power plants, high walkways, a mining facility etc making the firefights constantly entertaining, but unfortunately there's not much else to say. The story is incredibly light and feels totally detached from the rest of the game to a greater level than Overlord did in Mass Effect 2; Why is Shepard helping Aria retake Omega, unless it's to gain a powerful outlaw army and base for the war??? Except it isn't, or at least it's never stated as such. And once Aria has Omega back, nothing changes. She even STILL sits in Purgatory on the Citadel. What a waste. I don't hate it, but I do think it could've been more.
. Leviathan; My favourite DLC of the Trilogy. The mystery aspect of the previous games is back in force and adds to the creepy and 'off atmosphere', every mission has something going for it be it the seriously creepy indoctrinated scientists in the first or fighting through a collapsing cliffside base under Reaper attack in the second and the end reveal and conversation with the titular Leviathan is absolutely perfect. The music, writing, voice work, cinematography are all top notch and give us one of the single best scenes of the Trilogy. I mentioned earlier I love me some lore and Leviathan more than delivered.
. Citadel; I'll be blunt, I was expecting to hate this. I adore Mass Effect 3's dark, hopeless, foreboding tone and the fact this DLC is a funny fan service loaded jolly romp sounded like a huge shit all over that. That said, I was pleasantly surprised that the actual story missions involving the Shepard clone was played straight. Also just seeing more of the Citadel was awesome and I loved the Archive sequence, seeing all these major events like the Asari finding the Citadel, the start of the First Contact War etc. So that stuff was pretty good what about the other stuff??? The new explorable Strip is gorgeous and entertaining, the Armax Arsenal arena is ridiculously fun, all the hangouts are cute and emotional and the party is... bittersweet. That's the word for this DLC, bittersweet. Especially if you play it as the last thing before attacking Cerberus HQ so everyone is available. You have this fun joyful party with all your friends that you've made over the 150+ hour Trilogy, just before the big final battle for Earth that'll end the war. It's a calm before the storm. It feels like an ending which is kinda appropriate given it was the last DLC for the Trilogy. I don't know, I felt a lot of emotions once I'd finished it which I seriously wasn't expecting.
. The Extended Cut; This'll be more an overview of my thoughts on the ending/s than just my thoughts on the Extended Cut. First off I'm just gonna mention that Mass Effect 3 is not just my favourite Mass Effect game but my favourite game of all time full stop. The entire game is full of beautiful and iconic moments, fist pumping victories and heart shredding defeats, intense and epic action spectacle and genuine tear jerking emotion. It's always been everything I wanted and more, so frankly by the time I got the ending I wasn't disappointed. At all. The game had won my heart more than even I expected. I'll confess, it's straight outta left field and very vague but in time I got used to it. My first playthrough of the Extended Cut was just that; a playthrough of the Extended Cut where I just raced through the last chunk of the story. I didn't remember much beyond being more satisfied. This time though, marathoning the full Trilogy one game after the other with all DLC, I can say that I like the Extended Cut ending. Quite a lot. For me it works. The Catalyst works. The reason for the Reapers works. Leviathan definitely adds to it but honestly I consider it more a cherry on top of the cake that is the initial ending whereas the Extended Cut is a full on icing, sprinkles, extra chocolate sauce inside etc. I really like the Mass Effect 3 ending now. Sue me.
So there we are, feel free to tell me why/how I'm wrong below. 😂😂😂

Watch Dogs Legion Xbox Series X lost saves

Was playing WDL on the Xbox Series X and it suddenly froze. Closed it and went back in to find out I've lost hours of progress. Now I dont feel like playing again in case it happens again. Dont know if its a known issue with the new Xbox, but I did read similar problems happening on PC. Hope there's a fix soon. Or at least give us the option to save manually too.
Edit: Requested a refund from Microsoft store after it happened a second time (lost 4 operatives...pain). I have a digital copy.
Edit2: please report here. https://forums.ubisoft.com/showthread.php/2292597-Progress-not-saving
Edit3: Ubisoft Support Staff replied in the above thread: "Hi, everyone! Thanks again for keeping this thread up to date! As I said before, please know that we are aware of this issue for players on the Xbox Series X ( regardless of having permadeath mode active or not ) and are working to resolve this as soon as possible! As soon as I get more information to provide you all, I will update this thread! Once again, I truly appreciate you all helping out here!"
Edit4: MS store refused to give refund. One work around that I've been trying is to delete game and reinstall. After every mission or recruit or whatever you dont want to lose (I recommend every 15 minutes), quit to main menu to trigger auto save. It doesn't take that long to resume on Xbox series X. A lot of times it works. Other times, it freezes. Especially if it says "lost signal to ubisoft server" or something. If it does that, you lose your progress (it also happens if game crashes or glitches which happens often)
Edit5: u/bin4rydigit says: "Hey, there is a solution (atleast for the disc version) in WDL to save....it seems that going offline really does enable you to save 100% of the time. I am playing for nearly a week for hours without losing any progress!" (I dont know whats the effect of going offline on achievements but you can try this if you have the Disk version)
Edit6: from WDL official Twitter: "We're sorry about the issues you're experiencing. The team is aware of this issue and are working on a fix for it, which we're aiming to have in a patch in early December."
Edit7: Filing a complaint with the BBB.

Xbox Series X does NOT have always online DRM.

Taken from u/Spheromancer
I tested this with my Xbox series X and I can confirm that this is 100% not true for DISC copies of games. I can provide video proof if needed. However, I cant confirm digitally bought games because I'm sharing games with a friend right now
Edit: Furthermore, i removed the disc from the game console and tried to play it in offline mode and got this exact same message as the tweet. That might be what he's doing to create some BS? Of course you need the disc in the tray
If you put the disc in in offline mode you can play it 100% and anyone saying otherwise is bullshitting. I can provide video evidence once again. It works fine. Can't say for digital games but my understanding was thats how its always been to avoid people just downloading a ton of their friends games to play them in offline mode on hundreds of consoles
Edit 4: Heres video of me doing what he said with a physical copy of a game

Edit by OP:
You do need a ONE-TIME activation to download a config file.
To be clear, it looks like due to the changes in the way BC works with Xbox One games now (Auto-HDR etc) you need to have a one-time download of a config file that does require you to go online.
After that, unless you uninstall the game, do not need to be online again to play the game.
So yes, it is a one-time config file download by going online, but after that it's no longer needed as the Xbox One game is now "configured" for the Series X.
So it's not always online, but "one time online to get config file".
Probably can be worked out in a patch.
But to call it Always Online and compare it 2013 is blatantly false.

Tech question regarding ultimate edition

So I bought the ultimate edition for Xbox hoping to get those Doomsday weapons, but it doesn’t work. Apparently it is a known issue (not known by me) that the Doomsday Pack appears installed, but you can’t access the content in game.
So here’s my plan. I’m hoping to uninstall the game, go offline, and install the ultimate edition only (no juggernaut edition) from the disc, get my weapons, then upgrade to juggernaut edition and hopefully everything will be good.
Anyone see any problems with this method? Especially in regards to my saved games? My only worry is that doing it all offline will stop my save games from being backed up/retrievable from the cloud.
UPDATE: That didn’t work. I was able to install just UE, but offline it wouldn’t let me get my save files, and online it wouldn’t let me play the game without updating to Juggernaut edition. Apparently you cannot backup Xbox one save files to a USB, cloud only.

My Xbox 1 game has suddenly decided it cannot be played offline

Okay, so, I've had my Xbox 1 S 500 gig for a few months now, got some great games on it like Just cause 4, Battlefield 1, Mud Runner, ALL OF THEM DOWNLOADED AND PLAYED OFFLINE because I don't want to connect it to the internet. I got it secondhand and am using the account it came with. Anyway, at a month ago I got Farming Simulator 17 Platinum Edition, and it downloaded and ran fine offline....But then today I decided, why not see if I could change accounts so I can play on my account. That didn't work 'cause I was offline, so I clicked add guest. While doing that, Farming Simulator 17 was in the disc tray. After deciding being on a guest account was probably a bad thing, I switched back and deleted it, and decided to play some farm sim. It loaded until the about the loading screen, then stopped and said I needed to connect it to the internet. I don't know what to do, pls help, all of my other games still work fine, its just this one, ironically my favourite at the moment. Thank you very much for your time!

The Empowered Demons feature will be enabled in a future update. We’ll let you know once this new feature is enabled!
What do I do if I haven’t received my preordedeluxe edition items in DOOM Eternal?
First, ensure that you have redeemed all applicable codes. You may have received a code from your retailer (sometimes printed on the receipt itself). If you still have not received your items, you can enter the Bethesda.net settings menu in-game and claim items by selecting Reconcile Entitlements.

If you are unable to load your previous checkpoint, you will have to select Reset Mission or Exit to Main Menu.
How do I use Photo Mode in DOOM Eternal?
Photo Mode is currently in Beta and only available in Mission Select after you have completed a mission in the Campaign mode. You must first enable Photo Mode from the settings menu. Once Photo Mode has been enabled you may press Right-Alt on a keyboard or Down on the D-Pad of a controller to access Photo Mode during gameplay. You can move the camera’s position and view the Slayer in third-person mode. You can also view the Slayer wearing skins that you’ve unlocked.
Known Issues for DOOM Eternal (all platforms):
Gameplay:
Issue: I noticed that my XP was negative after completing a campaign level or a BATTLEMODE match at one point, probably on a Thursday. Does this mean that I lost progress?
Resolution: You didn't lose any progress. This is a cosmetic issue that occurs if you complete a campaign level or a BATTLEMODE match while we are deploying a new Series. We will be correcting this issue in a future patch.
Issue: I've noticed that some of my customized DOOM Slayer skins aren't showing up correctly in BATTLEMODE lobbies and podium screens. Is there anything I can do about this?
Resolution: Resetting all weapon skins to default and reselecting your Slayer and weapon skins from the BATTLEMODE Customization menu will resolve this issue. This issue can also be avoided this if you select your DOOM Slayer character and weapon skins from the main menu's Customization sub-menu before entering BATTLEMODE.
Issue*: I just finished playing a Ripatorium session from the Fortress of DOOM. Can I play another one right away?*
Resolution: You can only play one Ripatorium session per visit to the Fortress of DOOM.
Issue: I'm on my first play-through of the campaign and the Slayer Gate Keys aren't appearing. Is there anything I can do about this?
Resolution: Deactivating Cheat Codes in the Mission Select menu will resolve this.
Issue: I am getting the following message: "No username specified. Please complete account verification." What does it mean and what can I do?
Resolution: There are two possible causes for this message. The good news is that you can continue into the game unimpeded for both cases. 1) Users who have created Bethesda.net accounts without specifying a username in another Bethesda title will see this message. For these users, you will need to complete the steps outlined in the Account Verification email that Bethesda.net sent you at the time of account creation in order to dismiss this message. 2) Some users who have created Bethesda.net user names are also reporting they are seeing this message. This user group is experiencing a delay in backend services that we are working dilligently to resolve. We apologize for the inconvenience and want to remind this user group that they can excuse the message and play the game unimpeded.
Issue: Pinned Weapon challenges on HUD are removed after reloading a checkpoint.
Resolution: Re-pin the Weapon Challenge. This will be addressed in a future patch.
Issue: Weekly Challenges must be re-pinned after beginning a Mission from the Fortress of DOOM.
Resolution: Re-pin the Weekly Challenge. This will be addressed in a future patch.
Issue: Sentinel Status is not always removed consistently from players.
Resolution: Re-accessing the Social Menu will correctly display the Sentinel Status of selected players. This will be addressed in a future patch.
Issue: Saves on Ultra-Nightmare difficulty are not deleted if the game is closed on the Game Over screen.
Resolution: This is an intended function of the Ultra-Nightmare experience. Although the game cannot be progressed on a given save after dying, saves will only be deleted with user permission.
Issue: Player is unable to access the Weapon Wheel if the Weapon Wheel function is bound to the Photomode key (D-Pad down)
Resolution: Do not assign Weapon Wheel to the same function as Photomode.
Issue: Why aren’t my friends receiving my Party invites?
Resolution: In some situations, delivery of party invitations may be delayed. Re-send a party invite if it fails to arrive after a minute or two.
Issue*: I’ve killed all the Demons in the current arena, but demon gates are still blocking me.*
Resolution: Demons may escape from their gates in rare situations. In most cases they return to the main arena shortly. However, if they persistent, restarting from the previous saved checkpoint resolves this issue.
Issue: Can I play a BATTLEMODE match with a friend on another platform?
Resolution: DOOM Eternal currently does not support cross-platform multiplayer
Issue: Can I invite my friends to a private match or party from [Xbox One/PS4/Steam/Bethesda.net/Stadia] system software?
Resolution: You can only currently invite friends to private matches and parties via the in-game Social Menu. Will be updating DOOM Eternal to support system software invites in the near future.
Issue*: The TAB key will stop functioning as a keybind for opening the dossier if the user minimizes the game window with alt-enter.*
Resolution*: In order to restore this functionality, the user needs to first maximize the title, then alt-tab out of the game and alt-tab back into the game.*
Issue*: I have the Bethesda.net PC version of the DOOM Eternal. Is there a way for me to add or remove friends in game or on the Bethesda.net launcher?*
Resolution: The Bethesda.net launcher does currently not have a friends management feature. If you play with users in BATTLEMODE matches you can add them as a "Favorite" and they will show up in the Favorites tab and invite them through the Social menu.
Accounts/Entitlement Redemption:
Issue: My Milestones don't show up when I change save game slots. Is there anything I can do?
Resolution: This is by design. Your Milestone progression is unique to each save game slot.
Issue: Milestone rewards don’t unlock if the player is offline when the Milestone is achieved.
Resolution: This will be addressed in a future patch.
Issue: Is there a way to link my Bethesda.net account out of the game?
Resolution: You can link your Bethesda.net account on the web here: https://bethesda.net/
Issue: I'm on my first play-through of the campaign and the Slayer Gate Keys aren't appearing. Is there anything I can do about this?
Resolution: Deactivating Cheat Codes in the Mission Select menu will resolve this.
Stadia:
Issue: Why am I seeing "This account is already online with DOOM Eternal on another device" on Stadia?
Resolution: In periods of heavy traffic, Stadia players may need up to 3 minutes before being able to access the title on another device with their same account. Close the play session on your current device and wait several minutes before accessing on a second device.
Issue: When I move from one device to another while playing on Stadia, I get a message saying "This account is already online with DOOM Eternal on another device. Please exit DOOM Eternal on other devices and retry." Is there anything I can do about this?
Resolution: Try again in 3 minutes. There is currently a 3 minute cooldown when switching devices while playing DOOM Eternal on Stadia.
PC Technical issues:
Issue: When playing BATTLEMODE as a Pain Elemental on PC, the Lost Souls move erratically when using the Soul Shield ability. Is there anything I can do about this?
Resolution: This happens for some PC users when they are playing with V-Sync disabled. Re-enabling V-Sync should resolve the issue.
Issue: UI elements appear too dim or bright while playing in HDR mode on PC. Is there anything I can do about this?
Resolution: This issue happens when Windows is not set to HDR display mode. Enabling HDR display mode in Windows should mitigate the issue.
Issue I am playing the game on PC and frequently encounter connection lost messages in-game? Is there anything I can do to resolve this?
Resolution: First, make sure you follow standard internet connection troubleshooting steps (ISP service issues, poor WiFi connection, etc.). You will also want to make sure that your Windows Date and Time are set automatically (located in the lower right-hand corner of your Windows task bar).
Issue*: I have an NVIDIA GPU and experience a flickering effect with HDR enabled on my HDR-supported monitor? Is there anything I can do about this?*
Resolution: To resolve this issue, please download and install NVIDIA GPU drivers version 445.75 from the links below:
Win 7: https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/159086/en-us
Win 10: https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/159091/en-us
Issue: The Automap appears dark on my PC's HDR-capable monitor when HDR is enabled? Is there anything I can do about this?
Resolution: We apologize for the inconvenience. We are working to address this in an upcoming PC patch. If you make heavy use of the Automap, we recommend you play with HDR disabled in the interim.
Issue: When I try to run DOOM Eternal on PC, I get the following error: "The server is not reachable, check your internet connection and click "Retry"". What do I do?
Resolution: To resolve this issue, head to the Control Panel on your computer, go to "Internet Options", select the "Advanced" tab, scroll down to "Security", enable "Use TLS 1.2", and then click "OK".
Issue: I meet the minimum system requirements and have the latest GPU drivers installed, but am experiencing performance and/or stability issues. Are there any troubleshooting steps I can take to ensure the game runs as expected on my system?
Resolution: First make sure that your system actually meets the minimum system spec requirements and has the latest GPU drivers installed. That information is available elsewhere in this FAQ.Users who have confirmed they meet the minimum system requirements and have the latest GPU drivers installed will experience performance and possibly stability issues if they are running settings that are inappropriate for their PC configuration. For best resultsusers who have a GPU that has no more than 4GB of dedicated VRAM should run the game at 1080p at Low Quality settings. Users who have a GPU that has no more than 8GB of dedicated VRAM should run the game at 1440p at High Quality settings (monitor permitting).Because there are so many possible PC configurations, you may need to take a trial and error approach to get the very best reslts for your PC configuration. Reducing Texture and Shadow Quality will be the first option you'll want to experiment with if you are looking for custom game settings.
Issue: I am encountering audio issues (i.e. dropouts, missing audio) when using a bluetooth headset on my PC. What can I do?
Resolution: Your issue may be resolved by turning off "handsfree telephony" on your PC. Head to the "control panel", "view devices and printers", double click the headset you're using, open "properties", select the "services" tab, untick "handsfree telephony" and then select ok.
Issue: Verifying the integrity of game files will cause the game to shut down when loading classic DOOM II from the in-game Hub.
Resolution: We're working on resolving this in a future update. In the meantime, we recommend users avoid using this Steam option unless required to as part of troubleshooting.
Issue: Why am I seeing poor performance while using G-Sync or Freesync?
Resolution: For best performance with these features, enable V-sync from the in-game graphics settings. Note that 3rd party tools configured to limit frame rates may adversely impact performance.
Issue: I have an AMD GPU and HDR monitor, but the game won't run in HDR display mode. What can I do to resolve this?
Resolution:To run the game in HDR display mode on supported monitors, players with AMD GPUs need to have the official DOOM Eternal release drivers (20.3.1). Download them here: https://www.amd.com/en/support...
Issue*: I have the latest GPU drivers installed and meet minimum system specs, but the game doesn't launch correctly or crashes on launch. Is there anything I can do?*
Resolution: For some users, there's a chance you don't have all of the required DirectX files installed. Reinstalling the DirectX runtime libraries from the following location may resolve this issue: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109If reinstalling the DirectX runtime libraries doesn't resolve the issue, there's a chance your motherboard BIOS or CPU drivers are out of date.
For AMD Ryzen CPU users, updating your motherboard's BIOS and Ryzen chipset drivers may resolve this issue. The BIOS and chipset drivers are the links between your hardware and the operating system. Updating to the latest software ensures users have the latest performance and stability enhancements for the platform. To prevent the game crashing on your Ryzen system, please update your BIOS to the latest version using the files and procedures found on the motherboard manufacturer's website. Additionally, you will need to update your chipset drivers which can be found here.
Issue: The specifications published online don’t match the specifications on my boxed copy. Will my PC be able to run DOOM Eternal?
Resolution: Performance optimizations during development resulted in the expectations for performance on the minimum specification to increase for the majority of players. PCs that meet the published back-of-box specifications will still run at those settings, but most users will be able to run at more graphically intensive settings.
Issue: DOOM Eternal fails to launch or crashes while launching on my Laptop.
Resolution: We do not officially support laptop hardware. Laptops that conform to the supported hardware specifications may run DOOM Eternal.
Issue: Game window is resetting to default resolution after removing monitors while game is running.
Resolution: Issue is caused by changing hardware while title is active. Add/remove hardware before launching the game.
Issue*: Does DOOM Eternal support Crossfire for AMD or SLI for NVIDIA GPUs?*
Resolution: DOOM Eternal does not support Crossfire for AMD or SLI for NVIDIA GPUs. If you play the game with Crossfire or SLI enabled, you will experience performance issues or even crash. If you have dual GPUs on your PC, plug both monitors into the primary GPU before you play DOOM Eternal.
Issue*: Game crashes when changing settings to Ultra, Nightmare, or Ultra-Nightmare on some systems using only 8 GB of system RAM with Nvidia GeForce RTX GPUs.*
Resolution: When playing the game on these cards, keep settings at High or increase system RAM to at least 16 GB.
Issue: Game does not launch on Windows 8 with an AMD GPU installed.
Resolution: The latest AMD drivers are incompatible with DOOM Eternal on Windows 8.1. Install the AMD Radeon driver version 19.10.1 in order to play DOOM Eternal.
Issue: Game or PC crashes when turning off Vertical Sync while OBS is open.
Resolution: The DOOM Eternal game-ready drivers from AMD resolves this issue. This can also be worked around setting V-Sync to “On”, “Adaptive”, or “Triple Buffered” on older AMD GPU driver releases.
Issue: Game crashes when launched on Intel or AMD integrated graphics chipsets.
Resolution: Integrated Graphics options are not supported.
Issue: Some areas of the screen are obscured by large numbers of black particles.
Resolution: If the issue is encountered, assuming you are able to run the game, disabling the Depth of Field option will resolve this issue.
Issue: Game loads to a black screen when launching in full-screen mode.
Resolution: This issue is caused by the DOOM Eternal executable getting quarantined by an Anti-Virus program. Add an exception to your Anti-Virus program to resolve.
Issue*: The game won't launch on my laptop.*
Resolution: Make sure that the laptop uses its dedicated GPU and that the laptop is plugged into power. (This may also help with some desktops that use mother boards that have integrated GPUs.) Your NVIDIA driver needs to be setup to pick the dedicated GPU.
Issue: Game performance is degraded while playing with external software overlays enabled, such as MSI Afterburner, ReShade and others. There is also a known issue with the Steam overlay that can result in performance degradation.
Resolution: Disable any external software overlay to improve performance. You may also want to try disabling the Steam overlay. Please use the in-game performance metric display to track FPS and other valuable runtime performance metrics.
Console Known issues:
Issue: DOOM Slayer fist remains on screen and player is unable to change to any weapon
Resolution: Reloading the previous checkpoint resolves the issue.
Issue*: I'm a console player and the game crashes when I try to play the original DOOM or DOOM II from the Fortress of DOOM. Is there anything I can do?*
Resolution: We appologize for the inconvenience. We are working to address this in our next console update. Stay tuned for more details.
PS4 Known issues:
Issue*: I'm encountering an error that says "You do not have permission to access this content."*
Resolution: Check your "addons" in DOOM Eternal and make sure the campaign is downloaded. If it is and you can't access the game, go into PS4 Settings > Account Management > Restore Licenses. Once the licenses restore you should no longer see this message and can play the game.
Xbox One Known issues:
Issue*: For physical copies of DOOM Eternal on Xbox One, users must download the available patch which allows users to properly unlock achievements. It is highly recommended that owners of physical copies download that update. If a user with a disc copy of DOOM Eternal bypasses the update, achievements will not be unlocked.*
Resolution*: To prevent the issue, please ensure you have downloaded the patch (1.0.0.6). Digital copies of DOOM Eternal will automatically download the patch.*
If you’ve bypassed the patch and have played the game, in order to resolve the issue, the user must delete all title-associated save data from 'Manage games' and repeat the achievement criteria in an online state to unlock achievements after this issue occurs.
Issue: Pre-Order / Deluxe items purchased from the Xbox One store may not immediately appear in game.
Resolution: Items are guaranteed to be awarded over a period of time, but to speed up this process, players can enter the Bethesda.Net settings menu and claim items by selecting the “Reclaim Entitlements” option.
Issue: The initial chunk for the game has installed, but I’m unable to launch the campaign
Resolution: DOOM Eternal requires the title to be fully installed before starting a new campaign. Please wait for the install to complete and try again.
Issue: I’ve installed the DOOM Eternal (Campaign) from disc, why can’t I start a new campaign?
Resolution: In order to play the campaign, all components of DOOM Eternal must be installed from disc (both BATTLEMODE and Campaign). After inserting the disc, select ‘Install All’ to ensure your ability to play.

Let's get this straight! I will be telling pros and cons of digital games, while cons being obviously pros of physical game. This guide will then proceed forward to next topic of who should switch? Ending with important NOTES.
**Pros:**
*Digital games are not physical entities, therefore they are damage proof, scratch proof, water-proof, dust-proof, overall they can't be destroyed, which means in case something like natural calamity happens like a earthquake your huge physical library will just came crashing down with all your sweet games discs shattered into pieces (off topic but Nintendo users are safe from most this stuff). While over time your physical games will accumulate scratches and small damages which may render them useless or make them full of problems to play on a console as it couldn't read the disk properly.
*Digital games are very easy to access. Imagine you want to play all your games just for fun and you have this huge ass physical library. With digital games, and with now the power of PS5 fast SSD you don't have to stand up, and sit down again and again in your couch for changing the disks just exit the game and start next one. Laziness on another level, but that's what every one wants right? But with many games you might end up using HDD which will slow down your load time, but hey! You still haven't stood up from your cozy couch, so it's a win win!
*Digital games let's you experience a true day one launch. Imagine you have this game (CYBERPUNK 2077) and you are so hype for this you decorated your whole room with posters, changed wallpapers of your devices to that damn beautiful night city and now just waiting for the release to happen. But wait? If you have digital copy, you can just pre load the game on to your console and start playing exactly from the time the game is launched! HYPE ++, but alas you have ordered physical copy, which will take days to come. While all your fav youtubers and friends are enjoying the game while you are sitting and just waiting for your game to come. HYPE : (
*Digital games go wherever you go! Let's say you are rich af and have over 1000 games in your library, or not so rich but still have a nice 50 games in your library. Now you are going to a vacation for few weeks to a nice spot but don't have enough space to carry all your 1000/50 games with you at once, leaving to you only mere 10-20 games you have. Well Digital games have no problem like that, no matter how many games you have you can take them with your PS5 anywhere and whenever you like, just pick up PS5 and go. (considering you have enough storage solution to store all the games, otherwise you could download them too, I mean not bad considering you don't have to worry about disks right?) Even bad when you are shifting your home you have to take headache of taking them too, and if some mishappening occurs, your disk, well goodbye.
**Cons:** *Enough I guess, let's make all physical gamers too happy about themselves too!*
*Digital games are just yours, which means you can't lend them to your far off friends, and in case you made a bad purchase and refund system is not available or you just don't want that game anymore, well you can't resell them. With digital games your money spent is just spent and you can't get it back anyway , while physical games can be shared, re-sold, and can be given for rent, Overall you can do whatever you want , keep, throw whatever, which means you are in CONTROL! And who doesn't like being in control ?
*Physical games have not to be downloaded again and again. Imagine you need to download a new game, but you don't have space, and you delete a digital game. But later you got some space and you need to download that 50GB game again. Well congrats! The game you just downloaded before have to be downloaded again with net you paid for. While physical games have no such things. Just insert the disc, download minor updates*, or hell even start playing without updating the game. No need to worry about deleting a game and thinking you need to download it again. Physical games save so much data for real. (*doesn't consider updates of modern warfare 2019). And if you live in a bad internet area, then well buying a digital console is just like Going to school without books.
*Physical games get cheaper faster. So you are not rich af and can't own 1000 games, but you are a gamer by heart and need those sweet juicy exclusives for your ps5, and luckily you are a physical gamer! Well physical games get way faster cheaper than digital ones. Both launch at same prices, but the digital stays on that grossing 60 dollars for months. Even after a year they hardly go below 30 while physical games can be get for like 10-15 dollars from ebay. Now that's what i call a deal!(NOTE: I only took data of around first two years based on my country experience, for more time than this, digital games get way cheaper than their physical brothers most of the time, with few exceptions. Results might differ in your country so see a little statistics of prices of games)
*Physical games are great for show-off. Now you got some guests in your house, or a annoying child who treats you like shit when you are at his home. They all see your huge gaming library in all it's glory with those physicals cases and those fancy artwork and names written in their spine reading (GRAND THEFT AUTO V). And they all just see that awestruck while you stand their smiling on your beautiful collection. With digital games, meh. If you decided to open your PS5 then it's only possible moreover those fancy cases with artworks and physical items are still no match for those digital photos (it's another level feeling to hold a game in your hands). Physical games are just good for anyone who likes to praise their collection and see them all day and say, it's beautiful, I have seen it for 5 hours now.
*Physical version doesn't steal your digital fun right? SO yeah by spending 100 more dollars you can get a console that do both physical and digital, and if you are kind of hybrid guy, then this is a extra pros of physical version for everyone.
So that's all I guess. If there are enough please tell me, I will add them here. And I hope that answer much of your questions, so you either have decided till now which is better and what to go with. But you still confused? Well then here comes PS PLUS
**PS PLUS:** I tell you about how good is ps plus actually, consider reading it or skip to conclusion.
*I intend no console war, these are just my opinion. Xbox game pass is great but that doesn't make PS PLUS weak anyday. Read full.*
It's a subscription service which gives you 2 free games every month (oof everyone knows that, now's the real deal) For just 60 dollars a year you get 2 top titles to keep every month. Fall Guys, Morder warfare 2 remastered, Street fighter V, PUBG are some of the recent amazing games that this subscription has given. And if you are having this subscription for multiple years like 4 years then you have probably made a 100+ games library which has games even better than whole xbox game pass (except flight sim ofcourse, that game is too amazing imo to be beaten by any PS exclusive). So when you think critically PS PLUS is much more financial and give you much better games than xbox game pass. HOW? LEMME EXPLAIN!
You get two great games, say fall guys, you played it for month and then you get another games while you keep all your previous games. You can continue playing whatever you like. Like this a casual gamer will be happy with these offerings, and don't need to worry about running dry of games, and occasionally you will get top hits like uncharted 4, last of us, or hell even blood borne (GOD OF WAR isn't free until now, so get your damn horses cause it will most probably follow every other exclusive and be free before ragnarok release, only prediction though but quite undeniable). So a see you just pay 300 dollars for 5 years and get over thousands of dollar worth of games while xbox game pass for consoles cost 120 dollars a year(as it cost 10 dollars a month) i.e. 600 dollars for 5 years (holy hell) , with those extra 300 dollars you could buy so great exclusives during sale, while ultimate cost 900 dollars for 5 years . If you don't have pc, then very well, microsoft played you very well (considering some games exit the service too, and xbox live games are so bad most of the games are not even recognizable by many people). And if you have pc powerful enough to play those games, then this is ever better than PS PLUS any day handsdown. In PS PLUS games are being added in your library one by one. Now in xbox game pass they throw all games at once, and as I know you won't be playing every game right? Only 10-20 or ok even till 50. But you still paying for others game you don't play? See the point? That's the secret behind game pass successful model. No console wars here, but to proof that PS PLUS is a very great and financial subscription model for all casual gamers and that many people actually play the game they paid that 60 dollars for. You can buy just exclusives and few other top titles like cyberpunk while all other gaming needs would be fulfilled by a cheap 60 dollars subscription service which grants more than those free games for a whole year wow. See your library once, they are full of gems and you didn't even notice them. PS PLUS is literally a very great subscription service I ever came in hand with considering you not only get free games but other benefits too! (This is all obvious when you see the long run and not short run. This doesn't mean Xbox game pass is bad it's great, but I just wanna prove that PS PLUS is very great subscription model, and I love sony for this as much as I love xbox for their services)
In PS5 you get a PS+ collection which give you instant access to more games, even some you have missed in regular giveaways.
**So after all this we can come to 3 conclusion:** These are my opinion.
1: If you are totally new, then go with digital (but not when you have bad net. No chance. See if you have some cyber cafe or some place with fast net nearby to download games, otherwise you only have one option). Digital is only best option for casual new gamers rightaway. Sure cost of exclusives are 70 dollars? But you can either stick with you PS PLUS games, and wait for a sale, or just buy that yeah. I mean how often are exclusives released? Trust me, PS PLUS games will keep you busy for months and now you have that PS PLUS collection along with free gta online for first free months too! As you are totally new, you probably wanna buy old games which are obviously dead cheap during PS PLUS double discount sales
2: If you are PS4 gamer, and have quite small physical collection and wanna play new games rightaway, then go with digital. Prices are same for both version initially so it wouldn't bother you much. While see how many games you want from you small physical collection, sell all of those and buy digital version on sale (as they will be very cheap now, mostly).
3: If you are either rich af physical guy, or wanna buy exclusives/games for very cheap just after few months of release, go with physical. Although i would suggest try bending towards digital as i don't see physical games working for such huge budget games in future, but as for now, yeah physical PS5 edition is quite viable and you can enjoy them surely for next console genration.

**NOTES:** These are some important thing i wanna share, suggest me more if you think so.
*DriveClub digital edition is not available. So if you wanna play this game badly, go with physical or just ditch this game for good.
*With games getting update and patches as big as MODERN WARFARE, moreover blu-ray disk achieving their capacity , it is safe to assume digital media is what everyone have to do mostly. Honestly if you could update modern warfare then you could download any game (except if your intentions are far beyond my imagination)
*This guide as told was designed for totally new players or quite late players in PS4. Although I have gave conclusion covering as much audience available.
*Overall you are the one to decide I just given you a direction, but ultimately you have your own decisions so make whatever suits you best. I hope I helped you significantly with this guide.
*(Physical gamers)Also if the game is asking for mandatory update, try deleting the game, and then open your PS4 offline and then insert disk and start game upon installing. Most of the time it will work, but you just have not to go PS4 online again if you don't wanna update. But if not possible it's probably because of NOTE number 2
*Don't Buy PSNOW and EAPLAY with PS PLUS at all. PS PLUS is great and you need just time to make a good library. Sony licensing thing is quite messed like PS5 pre-orders, and if some game is given free by EA PLAY or PS NOW, and it was previously given free on PS PLUS, the current license of PSNOW and EA PLAY will override the PS PLUS license and if the games exit the service, there are high chances your PS PLUS library game will also be gone. SO don't buy any other service as it messes all sorts of licensing things. PROOF: https://www.reddit.com/PS4/comments/ivt6mz/i_got_bloodborne_on_psplus_a_while_back_but_now/

**EXTRA TIP FOR PLAYERS WHO READ TILL LAST:** Hmm did I wrote this good or you felt click baited?
Ok, now time for a extra tip which is legal (ooh!) and might be life savior. For all you players who read till here, cause that's what heroes do right?
Say you got a whole bunch of library of digital games. But one day you do something and you get permanently banned, and literally you become now broke af, frustrated af, and angry af. But all of that could be prevented, if you did this one thing.
First of all make two legal accounts on PSN (by legal I mean everything you enter should be 100% accurate and no faking of anything, seriously). One with which you purchase games, and another with which you will play games now. Log both accounts in to your PS4. Now with you main account, buy games , PS PLUS membership and set it as primary. And with your play account play your games. Now if you get banned you will lose all your game progress. But hey those sweet games and your PS PLUS library are still saved in your another account right? Make another account and play your games (again from starting though, rip my 2000 hours in SKRIM)
However I honestly condemn racial shit and slurs, in online gaming. If you do it, you are the lowest scum in this earth. However I found out this method because company can ban you many times for no obvious reason, and then we have nothing to do except remorse.
So this was my method, it's working great from 2 years for me. And it will do so cause it's not illegal to buy games in an account and don't play it in it lol? And hope this method will make you feel more good about buying digital games, as it was considered one of the biggest problems of digital gaming, that your whole library is whoooshed if you get banned. That's why I didn't state it as a pros or con, cause here is the solution (for anyone wondering). And save files are lost both in physical and digital method as they are tied to your account.
So that's it all I had to share. I hope it was much helpful for you, and I hope you have a great next gen gaming experience. Was having free time so decided to spend it by helping others.
#PS5 IS COMING BABY!

The truth about Smart Delivery game discs

TL;DR: Smart Delivery discs are just base Xbox One versions on disc. Smart Delivery on a Series X means full digital download and not update patches to the base game like on One X. If you have slow / capped internet (or both), or like physical discs to cut down on downloads / preserve games, you may want to reconsider getting a Series X right now. I assume Series S is the same.
Full post: Let me preface by saying I buy all the consoles, but Xbox One was my lead platform last gen. Even with the whole 900p controversy on the OG Xbox, I still bought all multiplats on OG Xbox One. This paid off when One X came around. So again, I got both consoles with the plan to make Series X lead platform as I still believe in its better hardware despite early benchmarks. I also buy discs because of better prices and because my internet is not super fast and I have to deal with Comcast data caps. That said, I've been noticing launch games on disc having huge downloads lately. What gives?
Ok, so I did a bunch of testing using Smart Delivery Series X games on an Xbox One X and a Xbox Series X. My internet isn't the fastest so this took awhile when downloading updates/upgrades. Games I tested with: Dirt 5, Assassins Creed: Valhalla, WatchDogs Legion, The Falconeer.
Tables of results:
Installing disc and update separately
Installing disc and update together
Overall the base Xbox One game is on the disc. When you install it to a Xbox One X, you get the Xbox One game. If you're online, it wants to download an update. This could be just patches or patches and enhancements. Either way it's a smaller file.
When you install the disc to a Xbox Series X offline (must be forced, see below), you get the same base Xbox One version. But if you're online it'll ask if you want to upgrade (not update) and it downloads the full digital version (still requires the disc to play). Only 10% or less of the game is installed from the disc. As a result, the downloads are massive. Dirt 5 is a clear example of that at over double the base Xbox One install size.
The Falconeer is the outlier in that the disc install is 2.4-2.5GB and the update on all platforms replaces the entire disc install with an overall smaller install.
Couple oddities to note about Xbox Series X offline installing for all games tested except The Falconeer:
So based on these, Dirt 5 was the most annoying because I had to unplug to get it to install, re-plug to get it to finalize, the unplug again to get it to play.
Bottom line: If you have slow/capped internet, or prefer physical for less downloading / preserving games, don't get a Series X unless you want to play every cross gen game as an Xbox One (not X) game in BC mode or wait days for a game to download. Until they start putting only Series X games on the disc, or start considering the Series X as the lead platform, it'll be this way.
If you want to play next gen games with the least downloading right now, get a PS5 and buy the PS5 versions of the game. Sucks, but that's the way it is.

Offline Gaming During Internet/Live Outage Question

Hello,
I hope you are all well and enjoying your new consoles (or your old ones, for that matter)!
I am planning on getting an Xbox console for the first time and just had a quick question regarding offline play on Xbox consoles (One, or Series).
My internet is generally decent, but is prone to the occasional, unexpected outage, or unannounced 'maintenance day'. I am aware that Xbox has an 'offline' mode, though I have heard that you should be online first, and set it offline while the internet is still connected. Is this true?
What I would like to know is, can you still turn it 'offline' and continue playing games (disc OR digital), even without an internet connection? Or say, Xbox Live unexpectedly goes down - can I still go 'offline' and play games (that don't require online capabilities, of course)? Or do you need to be online first? I've heard that discs are (mostly) okay, but digital games always require online authentication? Any other things I should know about offline play?
Under normal circumstances, I should be able to play with internet, but I do like the idea of having a backup plan, in case it does go out, or I travel with my Xbox or something. I lived through the "Great PSN Outage of 2011", so it was good that I could still play all of my games.
Thanks for your time and help!

NFS Heat - March Update - Update Notes

NFS Heat - March Update - Update Notes

Need for Speed Heat - March Update - Update Notes

Hello there!
You’ve probably already read the Under the Hood and the article about the Black Market Delivery, so let’s jump right into it.
The March Update will be released tomorrow, and with it, two new cars delivered via the Black Market - one free, one paid. You’ll find new decals and new vanity items, and there’s a tentative fix for the issue that prevented some of you to proceed past the title screen. We’ve also taken a look at the world and smoothened out quite a few rough edges like floating bushes and reset points - you can find more on the world changes below.
But let’s start with the addition first: Black Market.

McLaren F1 & Aston Martin DB11 Volante

Update Notes

Additions

Black Market Delivery
As touched upon in the Under the Hood article, the March Update features the first Black Market Delivery. Once you’ve launched the updated game, you’ll meet Raziel. He’ll give you a call to let you know that there’s a car waiting to be collected down at Port Murphy. That’s only the beginning - as you pick it up, Raziel will give you tasks, and as time goes on, you can unlock new character customization, vanity items and a body kit for that car.
Two cars are released with the March Update. The Aston Martin DB11 Volante ‘19 comes as a free addition, being a variant of an existing car. The second one is a brand new paid car, the McLaren F1 ‘93.
Along with unlocking new vanity items like the new Beat Sync underglow, you will also notice that you’re playing some new events. Once completed, you will be able to replay them outside of the Black Market Delivery.

Quality of Life improvements
Adjustable camera shake
  • We’ve added a slider to the options that adjusts the amount of camera shake while you’re driving. You can find it in the “Driving” tab in the settings.
“Game is not paused” Notification
  • When you’re accessing the game menu during online play, you will find a notification that the game is not paused while you’re playing online..
New item notification
  • Until now, when you entered the garage and unlocked new car parts, you would be prompted with a feed of the new items on the right side of the screen. It was easy to miss a part if you unlocked many at once, so we changed the way you are notified about new parts. From now on, when you receive a new item in the garage, you will find a yellow notification banner labeling the category, guiding you to the new part.
Vanity Items
  • You have more ways to customize your car. You can choose from a variety of themed decals, add a new underglow that is in sync with the beat of the music or customize the color of your car’s backfire.
Race visuals
  • We added more variations for the intros of both day and night races. When you win a race, you might also notice there are new victory poses.
  • When it comes to time trials, both your and the ghost’s car will now be shown ahead of the race.

Other
When you launch NFS Heat while you’re offline after having the March Update installed, you will notice a tile in the social menu mentioning “Rival Crews”. It is a game feature concept that we were exploring, but unfortunately won’t be releasing. Such is life in game development. There are a lot of ideas and concepts floating around. Some of them are released and some will just remain concepts - like this one. We just wanted to give you a heads up that the tile found its way into the game, but it doesn’t have any functionality - and we’re looking at a possibility of removing the tile in the future.

Before we get to the Bugfixes, here are the release timing and estimated file sizes for the March Update:
Release Timing - March 3
  • PC - 09:00 UTC
  • PS4 - 10:00 UTC
  • Xbox One - 11:00 UTC
Estimated File Sizes
  • PC - 7.74 GB
  • PS4 - 8.38 GB
  • Xbox One - 7.7 GB

Bugfixes

Missions
  • Resolved an issue that could lead to the game hanging when restarting “Got your back” after the mission failed and you’ve been inactive for a while.
  • During “Breaking the Law”, the light effect that indicates an upcoming turn would sometimes remain visible even after taking the turn, which could lead to confusion when you were exposed to two active indicators at once. The guiding light should now be removed once you’ve passed it, as intended.

Events
  • Added another checkpoint to the “Vertigo” event to prevent corner cutting through the park.
  • Fixed a rare issue that could lead to the game hanging after starting the “Snake Dance” time trial.
  • “Up Up and Away”: Jumping through the concrete tube should no longer reset the car mid-air.
  • Lifted up a few people in the crowd during “The Resort’s Circuit” intro to stop them from clipping with the ground.
  • The AI drivers will now follow the proper route during the “Sand in Eyes” off-road event.
  • Similarly, they will now jump over the ramps during the “Crazy Cowboy” event.
  • We tweaked some events that have checkpoints covering split roads. Sometimes the AI drivers would slow down unexpectedly when passing through these checkpoints, adjusting their speed when transitioning slightly off-road. They should stick to the road now, preventing sudden brake maneuvers and therefore incidents.
  • It was possible to get stuck under a trailer during the “Brotherhood Drive” drift challenge. We did some work on them to give you more space to pass through.
  • Added a challenge level to the “Steel Dragon” circuit race.
  • When you fall down from the monorail track during “Trail Rail”, you will now correctly be reset on the trail.
  • We’ve added some visuals to the finish line of “The Resort’s Circuit” to make it more obvious that it’s both a checkpoint and the finish line.
  • The AR icon of the “Aardvark” event is now at the event location instead of a few yards away.
  • When quitting the “Eagle” sprint race just after it started, the AI cars should no longer drive straight into the crane.
  • The crowd is now visible throughout the outro cinematic of the “Crossfield” event.
  • AI cars no longer spawn in the air when restarting “Voyager”.
  • Hitting a specific tree at high speed during the “Axiom” event will no longer result in your car falling below the map.
  • We removed a few barrels that could spawn a few turns into the “Scramjet” event.
  • We had a chat with one floaty boi who was hovering to get the best view during the “Ultra Sharp” event intro. He’s now cheering on the ground, where everyone can see him.
  • The crowd should no longer pop in and out during the intro of the “Bullet” event.
  • The event intro and the countdown timer should show consistently, even when restarting the event multiple times in quick succession.
  • You should no longer encounter large boxes in the middle of the road during the “Farah” event.
  • Made a small change to the outro cinematic of the “Drift Duel” event to prevent the camera from shaking.
  • Added spectators to the outro of the “Trouble” event.
  • Jumping into the water at a low speed during the “Ultra Sharp” event should no longer get you stuck in a reset loop.
  • The camera is no longer clipping through the ground during the intro of the “Jenny II” event.
  • Added the missing spectator crowd to cheer you on during the challenge level version of “The Resort’s Circuit”.
  • Removed the outro camera for the “Speedcheck” event, as the corridor is so narrow that the camera would clip through containers.
  • During the intro cinematic of “Reaction”, people in the crowd should no longer spawn inside your car. We get that they want to be close to you, but we had to set boundaries.
  • When inviting players to a High Heat event by selecting “Challenge All”, everybody will now have to have the required amount of Bank to start the event.
  • After selecting “Challenge All” for an event, waiting for a few players to accept, then driving away from the event interaction point while the other players are withdrawing, driving back to the event should allow you to select “Challenge All” again.
  • In the outro of the “Containers” time trial, the AI opponent’s car will no longer fall out of the sky.
  • When getting off track and restarting “Mountainside Maneuvers”, you should no longer start from position two.
  • Adjusted the camera during the outro of the “Heights” time trial so the player and the car are visible straight away. Previously, their view could be blocked by a parked car next to the event finish line.
  • The Speedwall info for the “Crazy Cowboy” event will now show user data as intended.
  • We fixed an issue that was causing visual artifacting at the bottom of the screen during night race intros.

UI
  • When you’re busted with a Bank balance of over 10,000 but less than the fine you have to pay, the correct amount is now deducted from your balance.
  • The Rainbow nitrous tile in the customization UI in the garage is now showing rainbow colours instead of a plain white symbol.
  • High Heat events now show the event name in the event panel.
  • Players joining an Xbox party should no longer be muted by default.
  • Fixed a rare issue where the open world UI would be displayed during the outro of the time trial “Containers”.
  • The “Blackbird” event didn’t have a course preview on the map, so we added one.
  • Improved the visibility for the star icons next to activities on the map during daytime.
  • You should no longer see any empty message banners after completing activities.
  • When you’re accepting an invite for a Night event and then get involved in a cop chase, you’ll be notified that you won’t join the event. Furthermore when it’s you and one other player wanting to race, the event will be canceled, and an “Event canceled” notice will be displayed. If there’s more than 2 players and only you are getting involved in a cop chase, the event will start without you.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented you from using Russian or Arabic characters in the crew tag field when creating a crew.
  • When you scroll up in the player search screen, you should no longer scroll straight to the top, but scroll up gradually.
  • Inviting a player to a party in the game should show an invitation prompt on their end reliably.
  • The “Friends” tab in the snapshot gallery will now be empty when you don’t have any friends.
  • After escaping a cop chase in front of a safe house or garage, the prompt “End chase to enter” should correctly be replaced by “Enter Garage”.
  • Fixed an issue that would display incorrect rewards for some time trials in the info panel. This was only visual, you would still receive the proper amount of Bank after the event.
  • When you’re sending a party invite while Origin is in offline mode, you should no longer be prompted with “Invite Success”, despite the invite not being sent.
  • In the “Trouble” time trial event, when racing “GhostSpecial01”, the ghost car won’t get a head start anymore.
  • When swapping the X and O buttons via the PlayStation settings, nitrous activation should no longer occur when closing the map.
  • There was contradicting information in the UI about the reward for getting all collectibles in the Cloudbank district. The menu now correctly says “Red & Orange Wave Underglow”.
  • When you’re in an event start area during night and not involved in a cop chase, you shouldn’t see cop icons on your screen anymore.
  • Replaced the picture for the higher challenge levels of the off-road races with the correct one.

Cars / Garage
  • A set of stock rims for the Audi R8 V10 Performance ‘19 was a bit too small for the tires. We reworked them so there won’t be a gap between the rims and the tires anymore.
  • The tail lights and rear window will no longer pop as you’re hitting higher speed with the Audi R8 V10 Performance ‘19.
  • Slightly toned down the visual effects of the exhaust flames for the Audi R8 V10 Performance ‘19.
  • Decals will now be applied to the Speedhunters spoiler for the Audi S5 Sportback ‘17.
  • The Aston Martin DB11 will now show visual damage that reflects the status of the car’s health bar.
  • When equipping the convertible roof option on the BMW i8 Roadster ‘18, the windows will now be down.
  • The calipers no longer change when navigating through the brake disc menu of the BMW i8 Roadster ‘18.
  • When you’re driving around in a damaged BMW i8 Roadster K.S Edition, the spoiler will now be properly attached to the chassis and not floating when you’re jumping.
  • The wheels should no longer be flickering when you’re in a race loading screen with a BMW i8 Roadster ‘18 and holding down the acceleration button.
  • When customizing body parts of the BMW M3 ‘10, decals should now be constantly visible and no longer disappear when swapping a to certain rear fender, rear splitter or rear canards.
  • Moved the interaction point of the rear wheels of the BMW M4 Convertible ‘17 slightly so they’re in the correct spot when customizing the car.
  • Also adjusted the rear wheel interaction point for the BMW M4 GTS ‘16 Performance.
  • Fixed the visuals of some aftermarket wheel textures for the BMW M5 ‘18.
  • There was a small spot where decals applied to the rear window of the BMW M3 ‘10 would become distorted - fixed!
  • Reviewed the spoilers of the BMW M3 Evolution II E30 ‘88, so you should be able to apply decals to them properly now.

World
This is a very extensive list of changes to the world. There are a lot of minor tweaks for LOD issues, or instances where you could go to the middle of nowhere and drive through a rock because it was missing a collision volume. Then there’s buildings that were missing an entrance and other fun things.
We divided this into sections, as there’s a bunch of changes related to three different categories.
Collisions: We have tweaked some collisions. When we talk about collisions, we’re usually talking about your car hitting any other object in the environment, sometimes even another car. Or being able to drive your car into objects or below terrain, as the textures are not matching the collision models.
Reset points: This second category includes instances when your car would reset, when the game would think that you’re out of bounds. Most of these occurrences were in very specific places far off the busy streets, and not places you would frequent during races or challenges.
Visual: The last category covers changes that are mainly or purely visual. Slightly misaligned textures, floating vegetation, houses that are just slightly too high or low compared to the ground.

Collisions
  • You can now drive between the pillars and the front of a building next to a billboard in Downtown Palm City.
  • Fixed a collision issue in Southern Rockville, where you could drive into the wilderness and disappear underground. It was a good hide & seek spot.
  • Added collision to a concrete wall surrounding a parking lot in Mendoza Keys. That should prevent some water-related incidents.
  • Another rock was reworked to have proper collision in Grenada Wetlands.
  • You should no longer get stuck between two trees in Blackwood Heights.
  • Polished a spot next to the Palm City Raceway to prevent you from becoming stuck on a ramp near the flamingo collectible.
  • Added collision to a small tree in East Sandpiper Forest. Now that physics will affect it: Please don’t hurt it.
  • Reworked physics for beach huts so their destruction feels more natural.
  • A bunch of barrels at the end of a bridge in Mendoza Keys are now smashable.
  • We touched up the collision volume of a rock in the Northeastern area of Frontera Hills.
  • There’s a loading ramp near the border between Edgewood Valley and Sandino Ranches which you could get stuck under, which should no longer happen now.
  • Removed an invisible collision near a cliff in western Blackwood Heights.
  • A bunch of bushes in Grenada Wetlands will now be properly flattened when you drive through them.
  • Added missing collision to some stairs in Downtown Palm City, so you can no longer drive into them.
  • There was a cement block next to a railroad track in Frontera Hills that was missing a collision. To make your life easier, we lowered it a bit more into the ground, as it was the top of a pillar.
  • Reworked a few ramps in Mendoza Keys and the Palm City Raceway to prevent damaging the car when driving over them.
  • When you were looking for a billboard in Sandino Ranches, you would likely end up on the roof of a building. Now your car will properly collide with the pipe on the roof when you hit it.
  • The tent next to the “Late for Work!” speed trap in Frontera Hills is now destructible.
  • We fixed a missing collision box for a rock in the wilderness of Southern Cloudbank.
  • Also Cloudbank, different spot: Adjusted the collision model of a rock.
  • When you’re trying to explore the very edge of the map on the north side of Rockville, you could get stuck in an invisible object. That should no longer happen - but we’re still curious what you were looking for in that area.
  • The bridge fence next to the “Seaside Speeding Ticket” in the Westside district should be less of a hard stop - if you don’t run into it full frontal.
  • Removed a small spot on a sidewalk some cars could collide with during the “Larry” event.
  • Added collision to a tree in Fairview Fields - which doesn’t mean you should drive into it!
  • You should no longer be able to get stuck under a loading ramp in eastern Edgewood Valley.
  • Corrected the collision model of a rock in Rockville, the collision volume was a bit larger than the actual rock.
  • Reworked a small tree in Port Murphy that was previously indestructible.
  • Reduced the collision of a barrier on the side of a road in Cloudbank.
  • We don’t know how you find these specific scenarios, but here goes: When you park two cars in a narrow space between two containers near the Palm City Raceway garage, in a way that they slightly overlap due to the lack of space, and then have someone hit one of the cars with enough force, that car could be yoinked below the map at an incredibly high speed, and the game could hang when trying to respawn the car. This should be resolved.
  • If you were skillful enough, you could reproduce a similar issue we fixed: Driving backwards in between two cars, and hitting them in quick succession could make your car disappear. Nice party trick, but you had to restart the game as you couldn’t move.
  • Added a few boulders to an area in Rockville so it’s locked off, as intended.
  • Reduced the collision model of a storefront in Sandino Ranches, so you can smoothly drive under the marquee.
  • Reduced collision on the edge of a ramp during the “Up Up and Away” event to match the visual boundaries.
  • Improved the collision model of a rock in the coastal area of Mendoza Keys to prevent you getting stuck there.
  • The tree next to the “I’m not a jump!” speed trap in Downtown Palm City is now breakable.
  • There’s a huge advertising board showcasing the stores in the mall in Edgewood Valley. You could drive past it, but would take damage at high speeds, despite not hitting it, we adjusted the size of the collision volume to match the texture volume.
  • For whatever reason you might have tried that, but it was possible to get stuck in the fence around the Palm City Raceway. The fence has been reworked in parts and should not tangle around your axles anymore.
  • Adjusted collision to match the storefront of a cook house in Fort Callahan.
  • Going off the road that’s part of the “Proton” event should be less of a bumpy ride than before, as the terrain now behaves as even as it looks.
  • You should no longer be able to become stuck under the pipes at the rocket launch pad in Cape Castille, even with low rides.
  • You can now freely navigate on and off the path next to a building in Cape Castille.
  • In Mendoza Keys, you can find “The Teal Fin Inn”, a famous spot in Palm City. We reinforced their promotional sign so you can no longer drive through it.
  • A junk pile in Blackwood Heights can now be driven over from all sides.
  • You shouldn’t be able to drive into a rock on the west side of Port Murphy anymore.
  • Reworked a rock in Mendoza Keys so you can’t drive into it anymore.
  • Added a collision volume to a few small pillars in central Downtown Palm City.
  • You should no longer get stuck between a cargo train and a tanker rail car in Frontera Hills.
  • Two rocks near the edge of the map in Rockville now have a proper collision model.
  • Added missing collision to some metal wires behind the gas station in Fairview Fields.
  • You can no longer drive through a part of a bridge in Grenada Wetlands.
  • AI cars should no longer experience a collision when traversing an intersection in Cape Castille.
  • The spawn location of a parked AI traffic car was slightly below ground level. This would result in the engine trying to resolve that conflict by catapulting it into the air. It made for a fun sight, but we still decided to move the spawn location up slightly.
  • You shouldn’t be able to get stuck under a bridge in Sandpiper Forest anymore
  • More collision fixes: We ground a wall in Port Murphy next to an oil tank so you can drive alongside it a bit smoother.
  • We adjusted the weight of some forklifts, so they will slow you down as you would expect them to, when hitting them at high speeds.
  • We ground the inside of a tunnel in Fort Callahan, so you should experience a less bumpy ride when driving into the wall. Except for when you smash into it full frontal.
  • A building in Frontera Hills has a step in front of its entrance. You were able to drive through this step before, now you can properly drive over it.
  • You should no longer get stuck on top of a ramp inside the Palm City Raceway, despite your tires touching the ground.
  • Touched up a wall in Fort Callahan so you shouldn’t bounce off it when just touching it slightly.
  • We revisited an area in Frontera Hills and made a few changes so you shouldn’t be able to become stuck between a tree and a rock anymore.
  • Removed an invisible collision from a street in Port Murphy, south-east from the safe house.
  • We added collision to a hedge in Mendoza Keys. When you drive through it, it will be properly deformed now.
  • You should no longer be able to get stuck on a dock in Port Murphy.
  • There was a nice little area in Port Murphy around the docks where you could hide from the cops because they got stuck on a solid barrier. You should no longer be able to get to the area where they can’t follow - but there’s still enough jumps and containers around.
  • Ironed out some edges when landing after a jump during the “Up Up and Away” event.
  • Although it looked like a car would fit, you just couldn’t drive in between the back of a building and a fence. The area is now visually blocked, as it is supposed to be inaccessible.
  • We added collision to a rock at the edge of a mountain in Frontera Hills, so you can’t just drive through it anymore.
  • When driving through Cloudbank and wrecking a bunch of solar panels (rude - it’s a good energy source!), the bottom part of the solar panel pillar will now also be destroyed.
  • Removed an invisible blocker from a concrete wall in Fairview Fields.
  • Added proper collision physics to the metal railing near a billboard in Western Grenada Wetlands.
  • Your car should no longer clip through the edge of the steel bridge in Rockville.

Reset points
  • Driving into a spot between a pile of wood, a metal pillar and a wall in Port Murphy no longer resets your car.
  • Removed a reset point between a shed, a wooden building and a trailer in Sandpiper Forest.
  • Fixed an issue where you could access an out of bounds area in Mendoza Keys.
  • We removed a reset that would trigger when driving between a trailer and a wooden residential building in Sandino Ranches.
  • Similarly, in Edgewood Valley, this should no longer occur when driving through a part of a barn or a hay shelter near it. Or a barn in Frontera Hills.
  • Removed a reset point in Port Murphy, between a metal fence and an electric pole.
  • Crashing and flipping your car in the concrete tube during the “Up Up and Away” time trial won’t reset you below the concrete tube anymore.
  • During the “BayClock” time trial event, your car should no longer be reset during the last jump.
  • Cleaned up a few spots around BayView Park that are now properly part of the road network.
  • Touched up an area in Port Murphy near the docks, removed two small pillars so you no longer get stuck or reset in an area that shouldn’t have been out of bounds.
  • Driving off the road between two barriers next to a bridge in Westside will no longer reset your car.
  • Removed a reset trigger from in between two trailers in Frontera Hills.
  • Added a reset trigger to an area that should be inaccessible, but can be reached by jumping far off a ramp in Port Murphy.
  • We doubled down on an issue we fixed in January: Landing on top of an otherwise inaccessible building and wrecking the car in the process - the transition of resetting the player car should now be even more reliable.
  • When using the ramp to jump across the water and collect a billboard in Bayview park at a very high speed, you should no longer be reset mid-air.
  • Cleaned up a reset area close to the Cloudbank safehouse.
  • Fixed an area near the bridge in Eden Shores that counted as “out of bounds”, where you could get stuck in a reset loop despite just stopping there to take in the scenery.
  • Removed a reset trigger in between a house and a mobile home in Frontera Hills.
  • Driving up stairs in Port Murphy to collect a decal will no longer reset your car.
  • Patched up a few small holes in the road network in Eden Shores.

  • Removed a reset point next to a cargo vessel in Port Murphy.
  • Your car will no longer reset when driving between a parked van and a ramp in Edgewood Valley.
  • Cleaned up an out of bounds location in Fort Callahan when driving in between a residential building and a bridge.
  • Adjusted the collision model of the concrete structure leading up to the rocket launch pad in Cape Castille.
  • Driving on the high end of the base of the building just north of the “Downhill is Better” event will no longer reset you.
  • Added a reset volume in a spot where you could previously drive into the riverbed in Western Fort Callahan.
  • Fixed a reset issue between a set of stairs and a building in Sandino ranches.

But wait, there's more!
